Half Frame in B&W

50015-35020010-2009061020090316-50014-46700013With the first Olympus Micro 4/3 digital camera on the way, I find my old Olympus Pen S half frame film rangefinder more interesting as many people treat Micro 4/3 to be the digital Pen.  I just finished a roll of Black and White film as a celebration of 50th anniversary of Pen series.  Olympus Pen S was the first mass produced model in the series.  I also posted some color photo I took in last year Christmas by the same camera.

  1. u mean the aspect ratio of half frame becomes 4:3?

I think half frame is good, especially when you don\’t have much money to play film camera :)

  2. No, I meant the first new micro 4/3 camera from Olympus. It was on market with JPY price just few days ago. As expected, it is marketed as extension to the tradition Pen series to digital age. Its model number is E-P1. I guess E stands for current E series DSLR and P stands for Pen :)
